Wendy, formerly a longtime resident of Stuyvesant Falls, resides on Kinder Drive in Stuyvesant with local builder and volunteer firefighter husband, Dan Bopp. Recently retired from the a 33 year educational career with NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, Wendy holds a BA in Secondary Ed, a Masters in Special Ed and a Masters in Educational Administration. She worked to create the first playground pavilion, raised money for flood victims, and advocated to save the historic Falls Bridge. Wendy is the mother of two graduates of Ichabod Crane High School. Wendy serves on the Vestry of St Paul’s Episcopal Church. She is concerned that Stuyvesant be prepared for climate change given our recent storms. Wendy brings a strong voice for the needs of the residents of Stuyvesant and Stuyvesant Falls.
